Why did you choose Valley Children's Pediatric Residency Program?
I chose Valley Children’s because I was drawn to the importance and emphasis placed on advocacy and the commitment to serving the community. As a large hospital, Valley Children’s also provides us with the opportunity to help and treat a diverse population of patients.
Hobbies: Listening to music, watching new shows and old favorites on Netflix, and playing with my dog.
Advocacy and Research Interests and Accomplishments: My previous research was focused on describing the population that had undergone pediatric kidney transplants and their outcomes.
Care Philosophy: I believe that all children should receive the best care available, regardless of their background. I also believe that caring for our patients is a team effort that should involve other healthcare providers as well as the patient’s caregivers.
