The Willson Heart Center

The Willson Heart Center at Valley Children's provides the highest level of pediatric cardiac care in Central California – all in a family-centered environment. Our pediatric cardiologists offer advanced technology and state-of-the-art cardiac care for children with heart disease and heart defects, including congenital cardiovascular disease, pediatric-acquired cardiovascular disease and heart failure. Our Cardiothoracic Surgery Program, whose surgeons are from Stanford University School of Medicine, is part of one of the largest pediatric cardiothoracic surgical heart programs in North America.

Valley Children’s is one of the largest pediatric healthcare networks in the nation. Our pediatric heart center provides services at our main children’s hospital campus in Madera and various outpatient locations throughout the Valley, ensuring convenient access to all pediatric specialists. For all cardiovascular care, both routine and very complex, our multidisciplinary team of board-certified experts takes care of children of all ages, right in the communities we serve.
