The impact of Guild support

Since the first million-dollar endowment was established in 2007, the Guilds now have five endowments which total $14 million. Each and every dollar supports programs and services that provide comfort and expert care at Valley Children’s Hospital.

    4,000+ Spiritual Care visits annually

    The Guilds Spiritual Care Endowment provides funding for vital ongoing support for spiritual care services, which are not reimbursed by insurance or supported by government funding.

    330 hours of child advocacy outreach last year

    The Guilds Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Center’s team of 10 specially trained staff provide essential training to local organizations and law enforcement to help children who have been victims of abuse.

    8,000+ hours of Child Life care last year

    The Guilds Child Life Endowment supports educational programs, therapeutic and recreational play activities and bereavement support that promote physical and emotional healing.

Meet Our Guilds

Since our five Founding Mothers created Valley Children’s guild system in 1949, the Guilds have been a vital part of Valley Children's. Get to know our 13 regional guilds -- by joining a guild, you are joining a compassionate team of fun, caring people dedicated to generating hope and healing for the kids of the Central Valley.

La Tienda Guild Thrift Shop carries gently used items including clothing, accessories, houseware and more. The shop is open Tuesday through Friday from 10:00am to 2:00pm and the first Saturday of each month from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
