Volunteering At Valley Children's Healthcare
Volunteers are at the very heart of Valley Children’s, providing crucial support services to the Hospital and other locations throughout the Valley. Each year, more than 500 Valley Children’s volunteers, ranging in ages from 14 to 80+, donate their time and energy to support our mission to provide high quality comprehensive health care to children regardless of their ability to pay.
Valley Children’s volunteers support our patients, families and staff by providing a wide array of key services. The majority of volunteers interact directly with patients in a variety of clinical and non-clinical areas.
The Volunteer Commitment
Volunteering at our Hospital requires a significant commitment from our staff to provide free training, testing and processing. As a result, we require a significant commitment from our volunteers.
Due to our extensive training and dedication to quality, all Hospital volunteers are asked to make a six month commitment on a weekly or biweekly basis (eight hours a month). We offer flexible scheduling and will work with you to determine a schedule that meets your needs, as well as ours. For more information, please review our volunteer requirements.
Not able to make this commitment? We still welcome your time and talents and have additional ways you can help!

If you are looking for service hour opportunities or want to volunteer with a group, please consider volunteering with our neighbors and partners at the Ronald McDonald House. For more information on how you can volunteer visit rmhccv.org/volunteer/.
