Valley Children’s Healthcare is once again recognized as one of the premier places to work in the healthcare industry. Becker’s Healthcare recently unveiled its prestigious “150 Top Places to Work in Healthcare | 2024” list, recognizing Valley Children’s for its unwavering commitment to employee well-being, satisfaction and fulfillment. This is the fourth time Valley Children’s has received this distinction from Becker’s, a trusted authority in healthcare business and legal industry information.
“The work that happens at Valley Children's to provide exceptional care for our patients and families is only possible because of our skilled and dedicated staff and providers who care deeply about our mission and regularly provide feedback to shape our programs,” says Kelly Beall, Valley Children’s senior vice president and chief people officer. “Being recognized as one of the 150 Top Places to Work in Healthcare for the fourth time is a reflection of Valley Children's commitment to creating an engaging, supportive and collaborative environment where everyone is welcome, and everyone can be their best.”
Valley Children’s shared the news with staff and providers this week as part of Heart of Healthcare Week – which kicked off with National Nurses Week and also celebrates the work of Valley Children’s staff, providers and volunteers.
Becker’s noted Valley Children’s educational programs that provide staff with the knowledge needed to care for the region's diverse patient population and promote an inclusive culture; an environment that fosters a culture of learning and creates opportunities to discuss ideas, streamline processes, and improve systems and tools; and comprehensive benefits and wellness program for staff.
According to Becker’s, the healthcare organizations featured on its list are top-tier employers who assist in teammates' professional and personal development, offer wellness benefits that address whole-person health, and provide opportunities to give back to the community. This list also celebrates healthcare institutions that actively push for diversity in the workplace, promote a healthy work-life balance, and enhance employee engagement.
