The Nathalie Wolfe Pediatric Sciences Library
The Medical Library provides knowledge-based and consumer health information to the hospital's physicians, administration, and staff and to the parents of the hospital's patients to ensure the children of Central California will receive high quality health care.
Book Collection
The Library's collection consists of more than 1,500 medical books, in print and ebook formats, approximately 50 percent of which focus on pediatrics and childhood diseases. They may be checked out for 28 days and are arranged on the shelf according to the National Library of Medicine classification system. There is also a small collection of key sources, such as dictionaries, directories, and the most current editions of major core clinical textbooks (such as the Nelson Textbook of Pediatrics). Reference materials may not be checked out.
