How Guilds Support Valley Children's
Since 1949, the Guilds have contributed more than $35 million to benefit the healthcare needs of children. Their more recent generosity has been in the form of endowments which support programs such as Child Life, Spiritual Care and the Willson Heart Center, and they have created access to new services through the Guilds Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Center. The Guilds were also honored to raise funds to establish the Guilds Center for Community Health – the first of its kind in the Central Valley to bridge the exceptional care kids receive at Valley Children’s with the health impact children experience where they live, learn and play.
As of January 2025, the Guilds are focusing their fundraising efforts on two transformative endowments totaling $12 million – their biggest combined commitments to date.
Support Guild Endowments
The Guilds' latest commitment to support Valley Children’s and kids in the Central Valley is through two endowments: $10 million ECMO Endowment and $2 million Guilds Endowment. The ECMO Endowment will expand and enhance care for the most critically ill children in need of heart and lung support, and the Guilds Endowment will support Valley Children’s patients, families, staff and various service units with a grant application process.
