More than 60 years ago, five young mothers imagined building a hospital just for kids. Their humble vision to provide a hospital where every child in the region could receive specialized medical care inspired widespread support.

The mothers’ dream expanded not only into a comprehensive medical facility with nationally recognized physicians and programs, but also now one of the country’s largest pediatric healthcare networks: Valley Children’s Healthcare. 

Our network provides comprehensive pediatric services at our main campus in Madera and throughout Central California. Valley Children’s Healthcare incorporates the Hospital, pediatric subspecialists and a network of partner hospitals, specialty care centers, satellite practices and primary care services. 

We believe every child who comes through a hospital or medical office door deserves the highest quality care. To help more children receive this in their local communities, we are building upon our decades-long partnerships with hospitals and medical facilities in our service area, as well as pursuing new partnership opportunities.

The region’s deep-seated trust in our founding mothers’ vision enables us to grow while we remain committed to being the Valley’s cherished place where all ill and injured children can receive compassionate, advanced treatment.
