Pediatric Clinical Symposium Series

Valley Children’s Pediatric Clinical Symposium Series is part of our continued commitment to bring the latest, most relevant medical education to community providers who serve children. The series is designed to provide pediatricians, family practice physicians and allied health professionals with state-of-the-art developments in pediatrics and pediatric subspecialties. These sessions focus on advances in diagnosis and treatment of commonly encountered issues in pediatrics.

Religious Beliefs and Practices Series: Muslim Beliefs

The goal of this series is to feature individuals with unique perspectives and experiences as they pertain to religious beliefs and the role they play in medical treatment. Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to: recognize the basic beliefs of the various faiths as they relate to healthcare delivery, differentiate the elements of various faiths that may impact seeking healthcare and medical practice, and recognize common rituals and practices including those frequently requested at the end of life.
