A board certified anesthesiologist, Dr. Christine Almon has served as a volunteer physician (anesthesia) at Interface Mission in La Piedad, Mexico. Dr. Almon is also a member of several professional societies including the American Medical Association, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the California Society of Anesthesiologists and the Society for Pediatric Anesthesia. She enjoys marathon running, bicycling and gourmet cooking.
A graduate from The University of Texas Medical School at Houston, Dr. Almon completed an internship in the Department of Surgery at the University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. She completed an anesthesia residency at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident and was the founder of the UCSD Miller Club, Senior Lecture Series. Dr. Almon completed a fellowship in pediatric anesthesia at Boston Children’s Hospital and was Chief Fellow.
