A member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Niyati Bondale joined Valley Children’s in August 2019 as a pediatrician at Fresno Children’s Pediatrics.
Prior to receiving her medical degree from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, Dr. Bondale received a Master of Science degree in pharmacology from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. She then went on to complete a pediatric residency at Cleveland Clinic Children’s, where she served a year as Pediatric Chief Resident.
Dr. Bondale is an accomplished researcher and author, having published several articles in peer reviewed journal publications, including Neurotherapeutics and Molecular Therapy, and even a peer reviewed book chapter in Methods in Molecular Biology.
In addition to her scholarly activities, Dr. Bondale is committed to improving the quality of healthcare systems and environments; she has served on several multidisciplinary quality improvement teams at various healthcare institutions throughout her career. Dr. Bondale is also passionate about community outreach and global health, having organized health fairs, educational sessions and healthcare clinics for at-risk populations in the United States and around the world.
In her free time, Dr. Bondale enjoys being active: swimming, hiking and traveling are some of her favorite activities. She also enjoys spending time at home quilting and gardening.
