Dr. Michael Hauser joined Valley Children’s Specialty Medical Group in October 2010 as a pediatric hospitalist. Board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Hauser previously practiced in Washington, D.C., where he served as chief medical officer at HSC Pediatric Center, a 100 licensed bed pediatric subacute care and rehabilitation hospital.
Dr. Hauser has also served as assistant professor of pediatrics, hospitalist medicine, at Children’s National Medical Center at George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and at Children’s Medical Center Dallas at the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
Focused on quality improvement, Dr. Hauser’s research interests include participating in the National Association of Children’s Hospitals and Related Institutions’ studies for pediatric subspecialty hospitals evaluating bloodstream infections as well as ventilator associated pneumonia.
A member of Valley Children's Medical Group, Dr. Hauser earned his medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Neb. He completed a pediatric residency at Creighton University – University of Nebraska Medical Center Joint Pediatric Residency in Omaha.
