Board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Lerraughn Morgan joined Valley Children’s as a pediatric cardiologist in 2019.
Prior to Valley Children’s, Dr. Morgan worked as a chief fellow and project leader of quality improvement in the department of pediatrics through the division of pediatric cardiology at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Morgan is certified in pediatric advanced life support and is a member of the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance, American Society of Echocardiography, Society of Pediatric Research, American College of Cardiology and American Academy of Pediatrics. He has shared his expertise in pediatric cardiology through various presentations, lectures, abstracts and peer-reviewed journals including the World Journal of Pediatric and Congenital Heart Surgery and Cardiology in the Young.
Dr. Morgan earned his degree in osteopathic medicine from Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences in Washington in 2013 and completed his pediatric residency at the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 2016. He completed a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at University of Minnesota in 2019.
