About

Practice Philosophy

"I believe that the best thing we can do is to bring our best every day to help each and every child, from using the best evidence to guide the care to involving the family in the decision making. To bring our best each day also involves teaching those around us, learning from each other every day together."

Board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Jennifer Snider joined Valley Children’s Specialty Medical Group as a pediatric hospitalist.

Dr. Snider has presented her research on a variety of medical topics to peers and the general community through special projects and lectures, including presenting to local high school students on ways to stay healthy in college. She has also participated in academia projects, serving as the main investigator researching the patterns of pediatric cough suppressant use among parents, and a co-investigator studying necrotizing enterocolitis in infants.

In addition to her medical work, Dr. Snider also spends her time volunteering. She has served in a variety of volunteer positions, including grant writing for LionCare at Penn State Hershey.

After receiving her medical degree from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine, Dr. Snider completed her internship and residency in pediatrics at University of California, San Francisco Fresno.
