Dr. Erum Kazim joined Valley Children’s in April 2024 as a pediatrician at Olivewood Pediatrics in Merced.
After earning her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan, Dr. Kazim went on to complete pediatric residency training at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria, Illinois, where she held an associate faculty appointment. She served on several committees while in residency, focusing on resident education and resident involvement in quality and safety initiatives.
Dr. Kazim brings a robust scholarly portfolio to Valley Children’s. Her research experience includes presentations and publications focusing on a variety of healthcare topics, including pediatric hospitalization and sedation.
