About Me
Dr. To Nguyen provides pediatric hospitalist services on behalf of Valley Children’s Medical Group at Lauren Small Children’s Center at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital. She also provides primary pediatric consultation for Bakersfield Memorial’s emergency room. Her areas of clinical interest include dermatology and preventative medicine.
Dr. Nguyen’s previous experience includes working in the heart of a predominantly Vietnamese community in Orange County.
Dr. Nguyen is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and American Medical Association. She has presented nationally on topics in her field. Her research experience includes subjects relating to obstructive sleep apnea in newborns, sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and more.
Dr. Nguyen received her medical degree from Thomas Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She did her residency in pediatrics at Loma Linda Children’s Hospital in Loma Linda, California. She is board-eligible.
Her multilingual capabilities include being fluent in Vietnamese.
In her free time, she enjoys doing photography, traveling, hiking, keeping fit and participating in marathons.
