To help keep ill and injured children ages 0 to 17 closer to home, Valley Children’s partners with Dignity Health to provide high-quality pediatric acute and intensive care for your patients at the Lauren Small Children’s Center at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital. Our pediatric providers collaborate closely with local physicians in Bakersfield and beyond to provide pediatric healthcare services 24 hours a day, seven days a week to families in Kern County. In addition, Valley Children’s pediatric specialists provide consultation services, including telemedicine, as needed for inpatient management at Bakersfield Memorial. This enables more children and families to receive the best care locally, avoiding long-distance travel for diagnosis and treatment.
