Recognized by the American Diabetes Association (ADA) for diabetes education, Valley Children’s Diabetes and Endocrinology Department provides expert diagnosis and management of endocrine and diabetic disorders in infants, children and adolescents.

We bring a complete multidisciplinary approach to patient care with experts on staff to serve a large population – more than 11,000 patient visits a year and more than 2,500 patients with diabetes a year. In addition to our board-certified pediatric endocrinologists, the department is staffed with certified diabetes educators, registered endocrinology nurses, social workers, board-certified clinical psychologists and registered dietitians.
Along with providing excellent care, the diabetes team conducts various educational sessions on diabetes self-management with patients and families. The sessions consist of individualized education plans and resource materials that measure patient progress and take place in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.

Expert Diabetes Care
Our Diabetes Care Center team provides expert diagnosis and management of childhood diabetes. We bring a multidisciplinary approach to patient care; in addition to pediatric endocrinologists, the department is staffed with nurses, nurse practitioners and dietitians who are also certified diabetic educators, social workers and dietitians.
