About Me

Board certified in pediatric neurology by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Dr. Steven Ehrreich joined Valley Children’s Specialty Medical Group as a pediatric neurologist in 2000. With special qualifications in child neurology, Dr. Ehrreich treats and manages complicated neurological problems from intractable epilepsies to spasticity and headaches.

In addition to his clinical duties, Dr. Ehrreich leads neurology resident education and provides lectures on neurological topics. He also works with Valley Children's Clinical Partnerships team to connect with affiliated hospitals and pediatric practices to help provide neurology education and referral guidance for regional pediatric healthcare providers.

Prior to his current role, Dr. Ehrreich worked in private practice from 1997 to 2000 as a pediatric neurologist in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. His professional activities include numerous lectures on topics in pediatric neurology ranging from epilepsy and seizures to attention deficit/ hyperactivity disorder. He is an active member of the American Epilepsy Society.

A graduate of the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Dr. Ehrreich completed his internship and pediatric residency at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. He completed a fellowship in pediatric neurology at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. He also completed an epilepsy mini fellowship program at the Bowman Gray School of Medicine of Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina where he received additional specialty training.
