About Me
Dr. Rob Raines-Hepple is board certified in diagnostic radiology and pediatric radiology by the American Board of Radiology. His expertise is in general pediatric radiology, magnetic resonance imaging and ultrasound with special interest in cardiac and fetal imaging.
A graduate of Princeton University, Dr. Raines-Hepple received his medical degree at the University of California, Davis, where he was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi Honors Society. He completed his internship in internal medicine at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle and residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Washington in Seattle. He spent a year as an ACGME fellow in pediatric radiology at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Raines-Hepple is a member of several professional societies, including the American College of Radiology (ACR), Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), Society of Pediatric Radiology (SPR), American Society of Pediatric Neuroradiology (ASPNR) and North American Society for Cardiovascular Imaging (NASCI). He has attended SCORCH, ASPNR, the ACR annual meeting, ACR Radiology Leadership Institute (RLI) and Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA) in the 2020s.
His interests broadly include organized radiology, business and finance in radiology, quality and safety, public and global health, medical anthropology, and both domestic and international radiology and healthcare access, education and advocacy. His specific interests are in pediatric teleradiology as a pilot project for a national integrated overlay PACS and EMR, radiology as a consultant service for all cross-sectional imaging and the provision of imaging services for underserved populations, especially children and pregnant women in the U.S. and globally.
Dr. Raines-Hepple has been the Imaging Department Chair and Wishon Radiology President since 2021. He has also worked in teleradiology, both as a general pediatric radiologist and a general diagnostic radiologist, since 2020.
He and his wife and young adult children enjoy traveling, reading, music and movies.
