About Me

In October 2019, Dr. Ngoc Kim joined Valley Children’s Specialty Medical Group as a pediatric hospitalist. Prior to her current role, Dr. Kim worked at South Nassau Communities Hospital in New York.

Dr. Kim has a specific interest in quality improvement and research and has presented her work at a multitude of conferences and research days, including pediatric academy societies meetings and NYU Winthrop University Hospital’s Research Day. Her quality improvement projects take a deep dive into topics including antibiotic stewardship and HPV vaccination rates.

Dr. Kim’s passion for giving back and bettering her community is reflected in her volunteer work. She has served as a volunteer for the American Medical Student Association (AMSA) where she performed vision, hearing, blood pressure and glucose screenings. After receiving her medical degree from St. George’s University, School of Medicine, Dr. Kim went on to complete her residency at NYU Winthrop University Hospital.
