About Me
Board certified in pediatrics and pediatric endocrinology by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Meenal Mendiratta joined Valley Children’s Specialty Medical Group in January 2017 as a pediatric endocrinologist. Her clinical interests include growth and puberty disorders, Turner syndrome and diabetes mellitus.
Dr. Mendiratta previously practiced at Baylor College of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, in Houston, Texas, where she worked as an assistant professor since 2011.
Dr. Mendiratta has presented on topics in her field across the country. She has published her work in peer-reviewed publications such as International Journal of Pediatric Endocrinology.
She is a member of several professional societies, including the Endocrine Society and Pediatric Endocrinology Society.
Dr. Mendiratta received her medical degree from University of Bombay in Bombay, India. She did her residency in pediatrics at Driscoll Children’s Hospital, Texas A&M University, in Corpus Christi, Texas. She then went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric endocrinology at Texas Children’s Hospital, Baylor College of Medicine, in Houston, Texas. She also completed a Master of Public Health degree in international health at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling and gardening.
