About Me
Board certified in neonatology by the American Board of Pediatrics and with more than two decades of experience providing specialized care for newborns as a neonatologist, Dr. Lee Joshua Brock joined Valley Children’s Specialty Medical Group as part of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit team at Kaweah Delta Medical Center in May 2024.
Prior to his current role, Dr. Brock led Tripler Army Medical Center as Chief of Neonatology, overseeing critical care services for neonates at Tripler AMC and Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. Prior to this assignment, Dr. Brock held the position of medical director and neonatologist at the Langley Air Force Base NICU. He has also held various leadership roles and made significant academic contributions at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth and U.S. Naval Okinawa at the Kadena Air Base in Japan, to name a few.
Dr. Brock earned his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He went on to specialize in pediatrics, completing his residency at David Grant Medical Center in California before pursuing a fellowship in neonatology at SAMMC/SAUSHEC, Fort Sam Houston, TX.
Dr. Brock’s extensive experience and leadership roles underscore his profound impact in the field, benefiting both patients and medical professionals alike. As a result, he has been recognized through various awards, including PACAF Physician Educator, Air Combat Command Pediatrician of the Year, the Air Force Commendation Medal and the Air Force Achievement Medal.
