About Me
Board certified in general pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Jennie Daly joined the child advocacy team at Valley Children's Specialty Medical Group in May 2021.
Dr. Daly earned her medical degree from University Autónoma of Guadalajara School of Medicine in Mexico. She completed her residency in general pediatrics at Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island, New York, and completed her fellowship training in child abuse at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital.
As an expert in the field of child advocacy, Dr. Daly has had experience in the assessment and treatment of many forms of child abuse including physical abuse, sexual abuse, and neglect. Dr. Daly has ongoing involvement in scholarly activity that includes resident teaching, various case presentations, continuing medical education and has published research that focuses on pediatric forensic medicine. Dr. Daly has testified in court for several cases and she is certified in child forensic interviewing. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Ray E. Helfer Society, an honorary society of physicians dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of child abuse.
Dr. Daly grew up in the Fresno area and after completing her medical training she is grateful to be back serving the children of the Central Valley.
