Dr. Sonia Dubey

Hometown: San Francisco, CA

Medical School: St. George's University School of Medicine

Why did you choose Valley Children’s Pediatric Residency?
During my interview and social hour with the residents, I could immediately feel the camaraderie and genuine support for each other within the program. The program director and faculty all showed their enthusiasm for training new doctors, and I knew this was an environment where I would be supported both professionally and personally.

Hobbies:
I like to crochet, hang out with my cat, music/dance and spend time with friends and family.

Advocacy and Research Interests and Accomplishments:
My previous advocacy work involved improving access to healthcare and empowering children and parents with resources to be established within the healthcare system.

Care Philosophy:
I want to ensure every patient and their family feels safe and advocated for when they come into my care. I believe when children feel supported by the adults in their lives they are most likely to thrive and succeed, and I want to help them achieve that success.
