Why did you choose Valley Children’s Pediatric Residency?
Have you seen this hospital? It is amazing! As a former Disneyland cast member, the Valley Children's Residency program's "castle on the coast" theme immediately grabbed my attention. I love working in castles! I also liked that Valley Children's is known for its advocacy and community impact. As a first generation American, giving back to my community is a priority, and this program aligned perfectly with my goal.

Valley Children's stood out because of the people who interviewed me. The connections I made that day felt genuine, with interviews being natural and conversational. I enjoyed the conversations and felt genuine warmth and hospitality from everyone I spoke with.

Hobbies:
Drawing has always brought me joy, whether on paper or digitally. Sewing, crafting, sublimating, and creating personalized items are my passions. I escape into video games like the Final Fantasy series and enjoy watching thrillers with my husband and bonding over novelas with my mom.

Advocacy and Research Interests and Accomplishments:
I had dedicated my time to volunteering at my local hospital, focusing on a special initiative known as the Baby-Friendly program. As part of a dedicated team, our goal was to achieve the baby-friendly designation for the hospital. We worked tirelessly to ensure that both babies and mothers received the highest quality of care in a baby-friendly environment.

In my previous research endeavors, I focused on studying the impact of increased physical activity on muscle mass in premature infants during their first year of life. This involved conducting comprehensive assessments to understand the effects of various activity levels on their muscular development.

Care Philosophy:
My care philosophy revolves around compassion, collaboration, and tailored treatment. I prioritize building trusting relationships with both children and their families, ensuring their needs are understood and respected. I believe in evidence-based, culturally sensitive care, delivered in a nurturing environment to promote optimal health outcomes for every child.
