About Me

Pediatric neurologist and epilepsy specialist Dr. Nathaniel Hodoba is board certified in neurology, with a special qualification in child neurology, and epilepsy by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, American Epilepsy Society, Child Neurology Society and American Academy of Neurology.

Prior to his current role, Dr. Hodoba served as co-director of pediatric neurocritical care at Sutter Medical Center in Sacramento.

After earning his medical degree from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque, Dr. Hodoba completed residency training in at Barrow Neurological Institute at Phoenix Children’s Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona, where he later completed a fellowship in pediatric epilepsy. He has shared his expertise in symposia and conferences and has presented a number of professional lectures on topics including epilepsy and pediatric headache management.

Throughout his education and career, Dr. Hodoba served in several leadership and mentorship roles, sitting on a variety of quality improvement committees and serving as a district delegate to the California Medical Association.
