 MADERA, CA. – Valley Children’s Inpatient Rehabilitation Center has received a three-year accreditation from the prestigious Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities International (CARF), marking its eleventh consecutive accreditation for excellence in pediatric rehabilitation services.

Valley Children’s underwent CARF’s comprehensive, peer-reviewed, on-site survey process that evaluated performance, accountability and the measurable outcomes of services. The Inpatient Rehabilitation Center met and exceeded the internationally recognized standards and is dedicated to continuous improvement in care and service.

Valley Children’s Inpatient Rehabilitation Center earned its first CARF accreditation in 1992 and is one of only two pediatric facilities in California with this designation, and one of only three on the West Coast. The Center specializes in comprehensive, high-quality care for children and their families for a variety of complex medical or trauma incidents and injuries, including neurological dysfunctions, traumatic brain injuries and spinal cord injuries.
