Fresno Children’s Pediatrics, which has been providing unsurpassed pediatric care for more than 50 years, is now a member of Valley Children’s Medical Group. Fresno Children’s Pediatrics was founded by Dr. Ed Defoe, who later became Fresno Country’s public health director. Over the years, the practice has been led by esteemed physicians Dr. Bill Reamer, Dr. Jack Scott, Dr. Louis Janzen, Dr. Maurice Gillespie, Dr. James P. Flanagan and Dr. David Bergdahl. The practice, previously known as Fresno Pediatric Associates, was originally near the old Valley Children’s Hospital site on Shields Ave in Fresno. In 1992, the practice moved to 7720 N. Fresno St. and continues to provide outstanding pediatric services. As they have for generations, the doctors and staff at Fresno Children’s Pediatrics look forward to keeping your child healthy.

Newborn Services
Whether you are first-time parents, or a growing family, we appreciate the opportunity to care for your baby. Once your baby is born, one of our pediatricians will visit you in the hospital, assess your newborn’s health, and answer any questions you may have. We see newborns at the three main hospitals in our area: Saint Agnes Medical Center, Clovis Community Medical Center, and Community Regional Medical Center.
