Why did you choose Valley Children’s Pediatric Residency?
Growing up in the Central Valley, I’ve always admired Valley Children’s and the strong commitment it has to serving this community. After being able to rotate here during my fourth year of medical school, I saw firsthand how dedicated everyone was, not only to the patients, but to creating a supportive teaching environment as well. I immediately felt a sense of belonging. My deep roots in the Valley combined with the amazing experience during my rotation made putting Valley Children’s as my number one choice an easy decision!
Hobbies:
I enjoy any time I get to spend with family and friends, especially my niece and nephews! I also love spending time outside- going on a walk, swimming, skiing, etc.! When all else fails, curling up with a good book or a new show on Bravo is always a treat!
Advocacy and Research Interests and Accomplishments:
Advocating for children, especially in the Central Valley, is something I have been passionate for many years. Having worked in public education previously, I hope to continue to empower our pediatric population through education and advance health literacy.
Care Philosophy:
I believe everyone deserves high quality and compassionate care. I hope to work with patients and their families as a team, offering excellent and evidence-based care to everyone.
