Dr. Sindhura Kodali joined Valley Children’s as a Pediatric hospitalist and Child Advocacy physician in 2019.
Prior to coming to Valley Children’s, Dr. Kodali worked as a pediatric hospitalist in the Bay Area both in a community based and children's hospital setting. She also provided consultation for child abuse cases for University of California San Francisco and San Mateo Medical Center.
Dr. Kodali has presented her research and given lectures and Grand Rounds at several conferences to various groups, including University of California San Francisco Pediatric Residents and Swedish Cherry Hill Family Medicine Residents. She has presented at conferences including the Association of Pediatric Program Directors, the UCSF Global Health Research Symposium, and Northwest Peer Review. She has been published in peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of Cancer Education and Tropical Medicine and Surgery.
Dr. Kodali received a B.A. from Dartmouth College. After graduation, she received the Olga-Gruss Lewin Fellowship to work with South Asian youth in New York City. She went on to to earn her medical degree from University of Michigan Medical school, where she graduated with distinction in community service and medical education. During medical school, she also earned her a Masters in Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health with a focus in Quantitative Studies and Public Health Leadership. She also received the US Public Health Service Excellence in Public Health award for her work in community organizing. Dr. Kodali completed her residency in pediatrics at the University of San Francisco. She has a strong clinical interest in Child Advocacy and medical education.
Dr. Kodali is fluent in English, Telugu and French.
