Board certified in pediatric gastroenterology by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Nathan Zev Minkoff joined the gastroenterology team at Valley Children’s in 2021. Prior to Valley Children’s, Dr. Minkoff completed global health clinical rotations Israel, India and Kenya.
Dr. Minkoff is a member of the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition where he serves on fecal microbiota special interest group, and has a research interest in C. difficile, fecal microbiota transplant and the fecal microbiome. He has shared his research and expertise through various abstracts and presentations and has been published in peer-reviewed publications such as The American Journal of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, Gastroenterology, and the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews.
Dr. Minkoff earned his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University. He completed a pediatric residency through Cohen Children’s Medical Center in New York and a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology through the Golisano Children’s Hospital at the University of Rochester.
