Board certified in general pediatrics and hematology-oncology by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Audrey Green-Murphy joined Valley Children’s in 2021.
Prior to Valley Children’s, Dr. Green-Murphy was an attending physician at St. Vincent Children’s Hospital and Prevea Clinic. Dr. Green Murphy is a member of Children’s Oncology Group (COG) for which she has actively participated in through research and phase III clinical trials. She has shared her knowledge and expertise in various lectures, presentations and peer-reviewed publications such as the Journal of Pediatric Hematology Oncology and Clinical Infectious Disease.
Dr. Green-Murphy is passionate about her field and has special interests in pediatric neuro-oncology, neurofibromatosis, brain tumor survivorship, cancer predisposition syndromes and survivorship of children with underlying genetic syndromes. She also brings a wealth of research experience related to sickle cell disease, brain disease and its side effects, and complementary and alternative medicine.
Dr. Green-Murphy earned a doctorate in osteopathic medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Florida and a master’s certificate in translational sciences from the University of Arkansas for the Medical Sciences College Graduate School. She completed her residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center and fellowships in pediatric hematology-oncology at Arkansas Children’s Hospital through the University of Arkansas for the Medical Sciences, and in pediatric neuro-oncology at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
